Assistance with Long-Stay Visa Applications
“Private and Family Life” Visas
Applicable Visas: The following long-stay “Private and Family Life” visas:
- “Visitor”,
- “Spouse of a French National”,
- “Child of a French National”,
- “Ascendant of a French National or their Foreign Spouse”,
- “Foreign Parent of a Minor French National”.
Professional Visas (employee, intern, au pair, etc.)
Relevant Visas: The following long-term residence visas:
- “Employee” or “Temporary Worker”,
- “Job Search – Business Creation”,
- “Paid Professional Internship”,
- “Student Internship”,
- “Language Assistant”,
- “Foreign Language Lector / Master / Tutor”,
- “Model or Accompanying Person”,
- “Au Pair”,
- “Working Holiday”,
JJP / Visas Consulting determines the applicable visa with you, advises you on the required documents, completes the entire visa application on France Visa, organizes your appointment, and keeps you informed.
The service also includes, in the event of a visa refusal, the drafting of your appeal letter.
Price: 600 Euros.
This fee does not include: visa fees, service fees of the visa application processing provider.
Payment Terms
Payment for visa application assistance is made prior to the procedure.
Refund Policy
If the applicant does not meet the visa eligibility requirements, a refund will be issued, minus a $250 administrative fee (i.e., a refund of $350).
If the applicant does not meet the regulatory conditions and if a relevant alternative to the requested visa has been proposed but declined, the payment will be refunded, minus a 50% compensation for JJP / Visas Consulting (i.e., a refund of 300 Euros).
In case of refusal of the requested visa, and if the applicant withdraws from their appeal options, the payment will be refunded, minus a 50% compensation for JJP / Visas Consulting (i.e., a refund of 300 Euros).
Assistance for Residency Formalities in France
This assistance covers the following:
- The procedures for admission to stay in France, including visa registration, then the first application for a residence permit upon expiry of the visa (in the case of a “VLS-TS” visa) or the application for a residence permit (in the case of a VLS visa giving rise to the direct issue of a residence permit upon arrival in France);
- Applications for renewal of residence permits;
- Requests for changes in immigration status;
Assistance with the formalities for a residence permit in France: 1,000 euros
“Visa and Residence Permit Assistance” package = 1,500 euros
This fee does not include: visa fees, service fees of the visa application processing provider, the residence permit tax, nor the stamp duty.

The regulation of assistance with formalities for residence card in France is provided in advance of the procedure.
Refund Policy
1 – Registration of the long-stay visa for and first application for residence permit for:
The highly unlikely scenario of the authorities rejecting admission to France or registration of a long-stay visa can only arise from the concealment of information that would justify the administration rejecting the application, or because the applicant has not enabled JJP/ Visa Consulting to complete the formalities within the required time frame (by not providing the required supporting documents within the administrative deadlines), or simply because the applicant has withdrawn their application to come to France, or has decided not to stay in France, the assistance fee will not be refunded.
2 – Renewals of residence permits and changes in immigration status;
When upon request, JJP / Visa Consulting explains to the applicant whether the conditions are met or not and the case where applicable how to meet them.
In the event of a prefectural refusal to renew a residence permit or change immigration status;
- If the conditions were met: reimbursement of 50% of the fees paid to JJP / Visa Consulting;
- If the conditions were not met: no refund.
