7. Paid services and financial terms
The key features of the services (type of visa, type and scope of assistance, scope of the engagement) are described on the website, in commercial materials and/or in the quotes provided to the applicant.
Before any paid service is performed, a quote or commercial proposal may be drawn up and sent to the applicant, specifying the nature of the service, its price, the payment terms and, where applicable, the applicable refund conditions.
Service fees are payable according to the payment terms specified at the time of the order (for example: payment on order, payment at the consultation, staged payments).
8. Financial terms and refunds
8.1. Advisory services
Advisory fees are payable in full on the day of the consultation, by any payment method accepted by JJP / Visas Consulting, and are definitively earned by JJP / Visas Consulting, regardless of the subsequent outcome of the procedure initiated by the applicant.
No refund, whether full or partial, is due in respect of advisory services once the consultation has taken place.
8.2. Assistance services – Visa applications
Payments made for the “Assistance” package are partially refundable only in the specific cases and under the conditions exhaustively listed below.
8.2.1. Visa application file fees
- The applicant withdraws their visa application before the file preparation process has begun, or it appears that they do not meet the eligibility requirements for the visa requested: JJP / Visas Consulting will refund a flat amount of EUR 350.
- The applicant withdraws their visa application while the file is being prepared and before the application is submitted to the consular authorities: JJP / Visas Consulting will refund a flat amount of EUR 150.
- The visa is refused and the applicant decides not to lodge an appeal, or the appeals lodged are unsuccessful: JJP / Visas Consulting will refund 50% of the assistance fees paid for the visa file, i.e. EUR 300.
Consular fees, translation costs, travel expenses and, more generally, any amounts paid to third parties (public authorities, external service providers, etc.) are never refundable by JJP / Visas Consulting.
8.3. Assistance services – Formalities in France
8.3.1. Non‑validation of the long‑stay visa upon arrival
If a long‑stay visa is not validated upon arrival due to a failure attributable to the applicant (including but not limited to the concealment of material information, lack of or insufficient supporting documents required for registration, withdrawal from or renunciation of the stay in France), no refund is due by JJP / Visas Consulting.
8.3.2. Refusal to renew a residence permit or to grant a change of status
When handling a residence permit renewal or change‑of‑status application, JJP / Visas Consulting informs the applicant, based on the information provided, whether the conditions appear to be met and, where applicable, how they may be met.
- If the legal and regulatory conditions were in fact met at the time the file was submitted, in light of the information and supporting documents provided in good faith by the applicant: in the event of a refusal to renew the residence permit or to grant a change of status, JJP / Visas Consulting will refund 50% of the fees paid for this service, i.e. EUR 500.
- If the conditions were not met, or if the refusal is based on concealment, inaccuracies or missing documents attributable to the applicant: no refund is due.
8.4. “A to Z” packages and specific offers
For “A to Z” packages and any specific flat‑fee offers proposed by JJP / Visas Consulting, the applicable refund terms and amounts, where relevant, are specified in each package description.
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms of Use and the specific terms set out in a package description, the latter shall prevail for the relevant service only.
