This residence permit is issued to investors who make a direct economic investment of at least €300,000 on French territory and who wish to personally oversee the implementation of their project.
Essential criteria and investment terms
Beyond the amount, the authorities examine several essential criteria:
- The reality and traceability of the invested funds.
- The productive nature of the investment (tangible or intangible assets).
- The commitment to create or safeguard jobs within the four years following the investment.
- The investor’s effective involvement in the management or control of the project.
The investment can be made:
- In a personal capacity.
- Through a company managed by the investor.
- Via a company in which the investor holds at least 30% of the capital.

Refund Policy
Refunds are possible if the legal conditions are not met to proceed with the application. However, no refund can be granted once the file has been submitted to the authorities.
