Talent Passport Visa – Employee on Mission

The Talent Passport Visa — Employee on Mission is intended for executives and qualified employees transferred to France as part of intragroup mobility. This scheme aims to facilitate the hosting of high-added-value profiles while legally securing the situation of both the employer and the employee regarding labor and immigration laws.

This residence permit is currently one of the main levers for international mobility for groups established in France and abroad.

What is the legal framework for the Talent Passport visa?

The Talent — Employee on Mission residence permit is issued to an employee recruited by a French company belonging to an international group during an intragroup transfer. Thus, the employee is subject to a French law employment contract, distinct from their previous contract.

The visa issued is a long-stay visa serving as a residence permit (VLS-TS) and grants the right to carry out the salaried activity planned for the mission.

This permit, issued for a duration corresponding to the mission (up to four years), is renewable and serves as a work authorization throughout its validity.

This scheme secures intragroup mobility while offering the employee professional and administrative stability.
